The 56' Alaskan Raised
Pilothouse is a more compact version of the 60' Pilothouse. Although
she is four feet shorter, the interior volume compares to the 60'.
The 56' features the art of old world craftsmanship and the best
of today's hi-tech construction with up to date technology. This
yacht is ideal for the owner/operator and is ready to cruise with
long-range capability, seaworthiness, low maintenance and luxury.
She features twin diesel Caterpillar 420 HP standard engines with 1000-gallon
fuel capacity. The 56' offers a three stateroom layout and an optional
convertible settee and table. A day head is standard giving the yacht
three heads in total.
The galley is forward of the salon with large breakfast counter open
to the salon and features a dumbwaiter going up to the fly bridge.
Interiors are available in traditional teak or several other fine woods.
Some standard features are granite countertops, stainless steel appliances
and plenty of storage space.
Hull #1 in the 56' Alaskan series is being built by Captain Ted Jones
of the "Outdoor Channel Network" Ted and his wife Linda produce
a TV show called "Pleasure Boater" and Captain Jones' new
Alaskan will be featured in a series he will run. Showing what it is
like to build a new boat, up to when it is delivered to him.
